If you are experiencing a true dental emergency while our office is open, we will try to do our best for a same day appointment. If you are experiencing a true dental emergency after hours, then please call Dr. Thapar-Dua on her cell phone at 301-509-8647.

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE TO YOUR EMERGENCY CALL, then PLEASE CALL 911 or GO TO THE CLOSEST EMERGENCY CLINIC.

CANCELLATIONS

IF APPOINTMENT IS CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED, THERE WILL BE A $100/HOUR CHARGE FOR THE MISSED APPOINTMENT.

We do understand if the patient is not feeling well or the facility is on lockdown (due to COVID or other matter) to reschedule, but please do call us and give us notice, so we can make other arrangements (reschedule).

IT DOES NOT COVER DENTAL CARE PROVIDED BY OUR COMPANY, SENIOR SMILE. SOME PROCEDURES/CODES MAY BE COVERED BY MEDICARE OR MEDICAID IF WORK IS DONE BY AN ORAL SURGEON. PLEASE CHECK THEIR BENEFITS.

HOWEVER, WE DO EXCEPT UNITED HEALTHCARE, OPTUM PLAN. THIS PLAN IS PROVIDED AT SPECIFIC LONG TERM NURSING CARE AT SOME OF THE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITIES THAT WE VISIT IN MARYLAND, DC AND VIRGINIA. ASK YOUR FACILITY IF THEY PROVIDE THIS COVERAGE.
